Although this client does some deployments on their own, we rolled out a version of our “Office in a Box” solution: preconfigured, job-ready IT kits shipped directly to employees. Beyond the hardware, we went a step further with their new hire deployments, logging into each new employee’s Windows account and fully configuring their setup before it ever leaves our facility.
This includes:
- Pre-installing Microsoft apps
- Setting default browsers and homepages
- Downloading and configuring job-specific software
- Customizing settings based on the client’s preferences
The Impact
We estimate the client is saving up to 80% in costs related to IT equipment and management, with most of the savings coming from accurately tracking their equipment, leading to maximizing the value of their IT assets. More importantly, new hires now receive devices that are truly plug-and-play – saving them a full day of setup and eliminating early friction.
